Dates of visit: 15th till 20th April 2014
The Paris Itinerary falls on the 12th, 13th and 14th day of our journey, though we stayed in the city till departure date back to Kuala Lumpur on the 16th day. Whole of day 15, we were spending our time touring London while doing the last minute shopping there. On the last day, we had to leave early to the airport, so, there's no way we can visit any of the left out places as originally intended. There won't be any time left to spare. You may see how tight our schedules were in below itinerary.
First and foremost, I was enjoying the apartment so much more compared to all the hotels @ apartment in previous cities that we've been at. It was because of a cozy kitchen (or rather pantry) that we used to cook a simple Malaysian food. We hardly had lunch or dinner outside during our stay. We even had a packed lunch prepared in the morning before we left for the tour daily. There are plenty of groceries shop along 42 Avenue de Paris where the apartment is located. We stopped there everyday for cooking ingredients, especially bread, vegetables and fruits for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was a fine arrangement for us all in the end.
When in Paris, use Metro lines to get around the city in a more convenience way |

Cooking pot and other kitchen utensils in the apartment made my day |
First and foremost, I was enjoying the apartment so much more compared to all the hotels @ apartment in previous cities that we've been at. It was because of a cozy kitchen (or rather pantry) that we used to cook a simple Malaysian food. We hardly had lunch or dinner outside during our stay. Packing egg sandwich before leaving an apartment, a daily routine |
Beside the foods, the apartment stays nearby to Metro Lines, Metro-Berault which s just a station away from the famous Chateau de Vincennes. As the apartment seated just within near distance to the Metro lines, it made our travelling mode much more easier. The Metropolitan's metro lines are easily connected to RER lines that we took to Versailles and to Gara de Nord. Though we have Paris 2 days passes, we still need to buy additional metro passes to cover up the remaining 2 days. You may easily purchased the passes and single entry ticket from any station. Please take note that there are 300 stations on 16 lines (1 to 14) covering 10km x 10km area of central Paris. Metro lines are numbered from 1 to 14 with 2 secondary lines on line 3 and 7. You may find more information about it from the Paris by train website.
Having Monalisa photobomb your photo is the best feeling ever |
Having a cup of Cafe Latte and macaroon after a purchase of Long Champ handbag is alright |
There are only 3 places that we did not managed to cover, i.e. Les Invalides, Mosquee de Paris and Le Marais. It was mainly due to we substituted those places for shopping. We were of course in LV boutique and was looking like mad to get to Roger Federer's special Nike outlet within Champ Elysees shopping boulevard on the first day. We skipped shopping on second day but continued in Galaries Lafayette on third day. The shopping does not end there. It was prolonged on the second last day of the trip in London where we finally cleared all our Euros in Cherles De Gaule airport feeling accomplished.
Be friendly with the gift shop people won't cause you any harm, instead he gave you free coins purse for being pretty |
All 4 of us were having "excess"baggage issues during our check-in at Charles de Gaule airport. We were so thankful to a beautiful lady with a kind heart who allowed the excess (though exceptionally unacceptable) when she attended to our group check-in. Last but not least, I'm giving you tips of what you should not miss while visiting places of interest in Paris. Maybe some ideas how to enjoy yourself or rather made fun of your self. No, no, I find it more amusing since majority of this entry has my face on it... hehe
You should try this... touching the top of the Louvres glass roof with 1 finger |
It's not rude to stare at each other in public, she would not mind at all as she knew that she's demure too |
Saying cheese while holding on self throat imitating is a thing that you should be enjoying |
You better stays there the myth god as this goddess need to move away to enjoy what life has to offer |
Kissing the wind so the kiss shall travels to a faraway distance bringing love and peace to a sick heart.. o gosh, did I say it correctly? ignore this 1 okay... am a bit insane here |
I'm wishing all of you a bless and fun weekends, alone or with your beloved. Do not forget to pray sincerely, forgive and forget all the people that has hurt you, including forgiving yourself daily. Cherish this moment, life is short to have grudges. I pray for all of us to have everlasting peace in our heart.
