In Omena Hotels all the best aspects of quality hotel accommodation come together. I must say, staying here is value for money as you may see from the shared photo that we had a good rest in an excellent room in the heart of the city. The basic idea behind Omena Hotels is that guests are only pay for what they need. The hotel is being operated in a cost-effective way and as a result, are able to provide guests with quality accommodation for a good price. Take note that you cannot expect too cheap hotel rates being in Scandinavian cities, where the city is among the most expensive place to visit. But rest assured, this hotel compliment you what "value for money" are. The rates that we paid for 1 room, 2 nights was Euro151.80.

From the hotel website, there are information about the founder of the Omena Hotels and Kotipizza chains Rabbe Gronblom who has been familiar with hotel and restaurant business from an early age. He wanted to change hotel business by developing a completely new hotel concept, where customers won't end up paying for pompous facades, lobbies and other excesses. Being a commercial advisor, relying on simple innovations, took serious note on advices given by his university professor back in the days when he was still a student: ”whatever you do, keep it simple”. That advice has been ardently followed from the days when the first Omena Hotel opened its doors in Tampere way back in 2003 and it has been their business mantra since than.

Last but not least, I wish to share 2 photos above to show you where is the groceries store and the restaurant that welcome you stay for as long as you like, seated on the ground floor. They offered a free WIFI for their customer too. The place is indeed very cosy. We had a pleasant 3 days 2 night stay in this hotel and the city.
