Cliche

Date: 25th September 2012

It's been a long time since my last entry into this blog. None other, due to busy schedule and laziness though many plans came in mind.

Why I choose the word "cliche" in 2008 when I decided to create this blog? The word is actually came from my favourite song by Jason Mraz "Life is Wonderful", when the lyrics "touche cliche" came to my ear for the first time, I was indeed very much into getting the meanings and keep on repeating again and again :)

As for the meaning of it, cliche as a noun is a trite or overused expression or idea and/or is a person or character whose behaviour is predictable and superficial. From thesaurus dictionary, alike words are banality, commonplace, platitude, bromide, comment, remark, input, truism @ an obvious truth

cliche - a trite or obvious remark
 - a statement that expresses a personal opinion or belief or adds information; "from time to time she contributed a personal comment on his account"

I think I like that and shall stick to "aswana-cliche" as my blog identity :)

So long! I hope I will not wait for another year for my next entry.

Sincerely,
Aswana

How much can you love a MAN?

Date: 10th April 2010

Eid photo in 2010
He is my man, my husband! A man, whom I laid my eyes upon in year 1989, a man whom I told myself not to choose as a husband since my instinct told me that he will hurt me thereafter. However, our fate made us tied a knot a year later and how I wish on the day we were married for him to be my 1st love ever, the 1 that I gave 100% love ever since. We have 4 adorable kids in 6 years. Life was not easy, marriage has an up and down since love alone is not enough to hold a marriage. Marriage requires a lot of perseverance, trust, patience and space for each other....

True enough, on our 8th year together, we had our 1st test that leaves hatred in our heart. It was a painfull moment, full of tears and agony. With GOD blessing, we decided to hang on, forgive each other and continue. It took me 5 miserable years to forget and let go. Both of us were glad that we made through until now. This time, I did not give 100%. I have some for me.

Then, our 2 mothers and father left us. I was not ready, it's just not fair. I'm i tears again and he had to suffer. I travel the whole world looking for a lost one, a precious peace that I reason out with him that is called as "CHANGE". It was expensive sacrifice. He's been where he suppose to be waiting for me to find an answer, without complaint. How could I ever selfishly thought of leaving him behind, without regret.

After 2 years 7 months, I came back with a heavy heart, still not realise that I have a family of my own. They are mine, always and forever. We are ONE soul. I decided to be happy no matter what happen. Just move on with life, appreciate small things, have respect to people, love things that you do. And today, I saw him...my husband from far, and I told myself, he is the one that I want to grow old with, none other.

I may not say this to him, now. But I do hope, when I read this again in future, we shall read together. He is my man, always! I sincerely love you as a Husband, a Friend and a Father to our childrens!

24 April 2010 is our 19th years anniversary! May Allah protect our life together for us to have a walk together in our 60'th, 70'th, 80'th. We shall see.

My Childrens

Date: 26th October 2008

My children and Iin 2008 when they sending me off to the airport back to Karachi

We snapped a photo at KLIA airport on departure to Karachi after 18days Eid' break. Children grown-up so fast. Too busy to analyse how much that I had achieved so far, I almost forgottent that I now had 3 grown-up teenager and a small boy who defensively denied of his age, which not yet 12. He keep on claiming that he is 12 on the coming christmas. Being the youngest, he's always the apple of our eyes. Whatever he does or say, it still sounds like music to our ear. No sign of commitment besides sports, games and demanding presents, So beautiful!

I am 42 yet still feeling young in heart. Sigh! I'm tuning to my childrens favourite songs and still dance whenever I can. Since my daughter and I are sharing same size (clothes and shoes), we theoritically are sharing almost everything except the undies. We shopped till drop at KLCC buying bra's and panties. She's bustier than me, nothing to complaint as she doesnt look like me at all, more on my husband. It safes lots of money when you share. Material things are faded easily unlike love thus lets had an attitude "sharing is loving".

Handling adolescents are not easy task. It needs lots of tears along the way for you not to give-up loving them unconditionally. I've been blessed so far, managed to overcome those problem with my daughter and she's now, proud to say having such virtue that any parents wants. Intelligence and excell in studies are not everything as that provides for life security only. To possess an internal values of life, obedient, polite, good heart are not easy to get.

For all the parents out there, please stop comparing the childrens and put so much high target on them. The time will come for them to appreciate those thing needed in life. Let the kite flow with the wind and pull them back whenever it's coming down or too eager to fly off.

Delphi, Athens 2 June 2008

Date:12th July 2008

Delhi, an ancient city of the Romans

Day 2 tour is to Delphi. We were pick-up at 7.50 and about 3hrs journey to reach historical site Temple of Apollo in Delphi. It is located at about 800m above sea level, the roads are winding and too scary to look down from the bus. The town sits at 1000m above sea level, the highest peak which had an amazing view. We were also taken to the museum where sculptures and valuable items of gold, silver, bronze etc. were kept. 7000 statues were originally placed in this temple. It was brought down when the Greek converted to Christianity.

We stopped for lunch at Hnioxoe Restaurant at 2.30pm. They served us a macaroni pie, chicken mix with rice cooked in Greek recipe, salads and fruits. It was a tiring journey to the hotels. We stop for a short break to buy souvenir where I managed to change my Euro500. What a regret to bring big note. I also managed to take lovely shots of roses. The roses tree is higher than myself. What a joy to have this roses plant in my house. How I wish... I always love rose which reminded me of someone closest to my heart.

101 Things To Do Before You're Old and Boring

7th August 2008

101 things to do before you're old and boring was the book that I was reading when I decided to create this blog effectively today. Something that I've wanted to do since a very long time ago not only because  I'm getting old and boring but I wish to share with people more about my life. There was a journal that I kept few years now ever since I decided to travel in the memory of my late parents, the places that I travel, the beautiful photos that I snapped when I took photography seriously in heart since 2004 and the books that I read. And maybe a plenty more to write when I have better ideas what to do in future. After all, life is really short, hence I enjoy the moment till you can.

Reason of delaying being a blogger is to wait till the day had happen and little bit time from a busy schedule. When can one get a time? So, starts the moment your hearts tell you what do you want. Wait for no one as no one shall wait for you.

Well, I wish for everybody out there to feel bliss with anything you do despite there's pain in your heart. Must remember that your inner strong gut will help you to stand out for no one but you.

I hope I will write more in the future and my blog will nurture my life and you. Smile...
